  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Oversee the work of shift operating engineers, ensuring accurate and safe task completion.
  • - Collaborate with equipment manufacturers for procurement of parts and spares for engine room equipment.
  • - Perform checks to maximize efficiency of equipment and resources.
  • - Take accountability for the engine room and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with blast and plate freezers, as well as a strong understanding of ammonia and freon refrigeration systems.

A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. Relevant certifications, such as those in power engineering, are also an asset.
