RBC Borealis is pioneering the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). As a seasoned Senior Manager, you will lead our work in the Capital Markets portfolio, harnessing the power of AI to revolutionize the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development:
    • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products;
    • Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly products;
    • Implement agile methodologies to drive flexibility, rapid iteration, and responsiveness to feedback;
  • Customer Focus:
    • Conduct market research and user testing to understand customer needs and pain points, informing product development strategies;
    • Develop strong customer empathy and advocate for the user experience, ensuring products are intuitive, effective, and delightful to use;
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Borealis and RBC, fostering collaboration and alignment towards a shared vision;
    • Influence cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product execution;
    • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders;

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or MBA is an asset;
  • At least 10 years of experience in product management, preferably in top-tier technology companies focused on AI or machine learning products;
  • A proven track record of successfully shipping products that users love and drive business impact;
  • A strong background in AI technologies and their application in product development;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
  • Deep customer empathy and a user-centric approach to product development;
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • A strong technical background to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members;
