Job Title: Agile Automation Developer

Health Standards Organization (HSO) is seeking a highly skilled Agile Automation Developer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing and building automated tests to ensure the highest level of quality in our software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the QA team, developers, and product owners to understand user scenarios and transform high-level requirements into optimized automated tests.
  • Advocate for and contribute to achieving the highest possible level of automation for all test cases in support of delivering quality software.
  • Lead the effort to automate manual test cases using automation best practices.
  • Build and maintain a stable test environment for automated testing.
  • Analyze test results and submit quality defect reports, providing support to development engineers as needed.
  • Ensure automated tests are added to our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain a test results dashboard.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the suite of automated tests.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and finding innovative solutions to any problems that may arise.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to colleagues and stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Solid background in software quality assurance, with 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Developer.
  • Strong experience designing and building automated tests in various languages and technologies.
  • Experience coding with Java and Selenium, and using TestNG.
  • Experience building projects in IntelliJ, and using Git.
  • Experience building automated tests for web apps.
  • Proven ability to take user requirements or manual tests and build a robust suite of automated tests.
  • Experience designing and implementing test reporting dashboards.
  • Experience in writing maintainable automated tests.
  • Experience working within the Azure DevOps environment.

  • Creative and not afraid to think outside the box.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to communicate with internal and external business and technical audiences.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work well independently or in a cross-disciplinary team, remote or co-located.
