Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, including GST/HST and government filings, banking communications, and financial administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GST/HST and Government Filings:
  • Manage and ensure compliance with GST/HST regulations.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary government filings.
2. Banking and Payments:
  • Handle day-to-day communication with banks.
  • Assist in processing payments and managing banking transactions.
  • Maintain familiarity with various banking platforms.
3. Finance Administrative Support:
  • Provide support in filling out forms and applications using General Ledger (G/L) data.
  • Assist in various finance-related administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in accounting, particularly in handling GST/HST and government filings.
  • Strong understanding of banking platforms and processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and G/L data management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant accounting certifications (e.g. CPA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions:

The position offers flexibility in working hours, ranging from three days a week to full-time based on the candidate's availability and business needs. Candidates will have their own cubicle.
