Innovative Researcher in Mass Cytometry

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our mass cytometry team based in Markham, ON.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polymer synthesis and post-polymerization modification, as well as experience with various chemical and polymer characterization techniques.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inventing new reagents for mass cytometry, reviewing literature, devising scientific plans, synthesizing reagents, characterizing reagents, conjugating reagents to biomolecules, and using reagents in bioanalytical assays.
In addition, the candidate will be expected to contribute to existing product scale-up, address product performance issues, collaborate with academic collaborators, submit invention disclosures, and present original research and literature review presentations.
Maintenance of laboratory equipment and experiments is also an essential part of this role.
Key Job Requirements- A PhD in chemistry or related field
- Proven ability to incisively solve technical problems
- Lead and complete projects
- Polymer synthesis and post-polymerization modification
- Variety of chemical and polymer characterization techniques
- Chemical modification of biomolecules and the purification of the resultant bioconjugates
