Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and logistics of materials for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Verify Material Availability:**
  • Verify the availability of materials for all scheduled projects and activities, ensuring that all necessary materials are in stock and ready for use.
  • **Coordinate Logistics:**
  • Coordinate the logistics of materials, including ordering, tracking, and delivery, to ensure that materials are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
  • **Consult with Procurement and Vendors:**
  • Consult with procurement and vendors to develop best practices, procedures, and standards for materials procurement and logistics.
  • **Provide Updates and Lead Root Cause Analysis:**
  • Provide frequent updates on material availability to stakeholders and lead root cause analysis for failed supply chain processes.
  • **Utilize Material Codes:**
  • Utilize proper material codes with agreement and non-agreement suppliers.

Requirements:

  • **Broad Knowledge of SAP Material Catalogs:**
  • Broad knowledge of SAP material catalogs and search tools.
  • **General Knowledge of Materials Usage:**
  • General knowledge of how and where materials are used within a plant.
  • **Advanced Time Management and Problem-Solving Skills:**
  • Advanced time management and problem-solving skills.
  • **Ordering, Tracking, and Coordinating Materials:**
  • Ordering, tracking, and coordinating of all material types for events.
