Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tru by Hilton, Bracebridge, ON. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation of the hotel's equipment and systems, including life safety, telecommunications, key control, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pool, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other related systems.
- Maintenance Request Handling: Handle maintenance request orders in a prompt and courteous manner, including logging and follow-up.
- Communication: Communicate with Assistant General Manager, OM, and/or General Manager on a regular basis regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure(s) and related systems.
- Supervision: Supervise external contractors who may be employed by the hotel to carry out maintenance work.
- Adherence to Company Policies: Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
- Skills: Good communication skills, both verbal and written; basic computational ability; basic computer skills; preferred knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
