This newly created position is responsible for serving the Corporate sector. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a team that values customer satisfaction, performance, collaboration, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review commercial real estate valuation reports, critique assumptions and conclusions, validate compliance with risk appetite and applicable policies and standards, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on real estate valuation and act as an expert resource for the development of real estate valuation skills.
  • Support units in terms of evaluations (collection, security, etc.).
  • Advise and guide partners and regional directors on the interpretation and application of bank policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Participate in the training of the sales force.

About Our Team

You will be part of a team of 14 colleagues in the Personal Finance Operations sector, reporting to the Senior Manager, Credit Origination. Our team has expertise in specific financing for mortgage products, personal loans, lines of credit, appraisal, and EQI.

Requirements

  • Industry-related bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience OR Industry-related master's degree and three years of relevant experience.
  • Hold the AACI (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute) or É.A. (Ordre des Évaluateurs agréés du Québec) designation.
  • Two years of relevant experience in real estate appraisal.
  • Good synthesis ability.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Canadian real estate market (Quebec and outside Quebec).
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Communication and knowledge transfer skills.
