Job Description

Sideworx Connect Inc is seeking skilled Water Transfer Technicians to join our team. As a Water Transfer Technician, you will play a crucial role in distributing water from source to site, ensuring its safe and efficient delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operations: Operate pumps, crew trucks, filtration units, equipment trailers, and other related equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure that equipment is in good working order.
  • Site Setup and Takedown: Rig in and rig out water transfer/lease operations, adhering to all standard operating procedures and rules/regulations provided by the client.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of water transfer experience, or 5+ years in a related oil field industry with transferable skills.
  • Qualifications: Meets or exceeds tool & truck requirements, proof of 5 million liability insurance, valid Class 5 Driver's License, and current certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided).
  • Skills: Mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of pumps and flow dynamics, ability to work both independently and with others to support a safe work environment, and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Working Conditions:
  • Travel: Travel is required, and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance.
  • Environment: Outdoor environment, including extreme weather conditions and exposure to high-pressure lines, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding with heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs).
  • Shift Schedule: Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime).
