Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Support professional to join our team at the CN Tower. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating all technical related services throughout the tower.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate A/V equipment for facility functions, press conferences, and other events
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems associated with A/V infrastructure and security systems
  • Perform regular inventory and operational testing on all equipment, including maintenance and repairs
  • Assist with troubleshooting and equipment repairs, as well as installation and maintenance of new A/V systems
  • Ensure all Audio/Visual systems are functioning properly and log all equipment downtime
  • Order supplies and implement upgrades and repairs as designated by management
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related A/V experience
  • Audio engineering experience an asset
  • Video editing and encoding skills an asset
  • A/V automation experience
  • CCTV system knowledge and experience an asset
  • Knowledge of electronic technologies, maintenance, and WHMIS required
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy workloads. You will be required to stand or walk for long periods, handle heavy objects, and work at heights. You will also be exposed to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and loud noises.

Please note that this role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Department uniforms are provided to protect personal clothing from wear and damage.
