Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at Newtech Appliance LTD. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults and identify areas for repair.
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs and advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
  • Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts and replace faulty components.
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
  • Advise customers on the maintenance and care of their appliances to prevent future faults and extend the lifespan of their equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in appliance repair and maintenance.
  • Own transportation.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
