This key role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations, efficient production scrap and warehousing, and preventive maintenance of inter-plant feeder carts.
Responsibilities- Supervise the supply of assembly cells with parts to meet deadlines and quantities.
- Manage production scrap and warehousing, including waste, recycling, metal, and wood.
- Maintain and update warehouse merchandise location as required.
- Perform shipping and receiving functions.
- In collaboration with the warehouse clerk, handle goods using a forklift.
- Verify merchandise and quantities received according to delivery slip.
- Receive merchandise into the system.
- Maintain and manage physical inventory; participate in cyclical counts.
- Prepare and ship parts for after-sales service.
- Follow-up with purchasing department for warranty returns.
- Supervise and mentor warehouse clerks, ensuring compliance with safe working practices.
We require a candidate with a strong background in logistics and inventory management, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A DES or equivalent degree is preferred, along with knowledge of custom papers, inventory movement, and ERP systems.
