Job Title: Woodworking Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at UNIFOR CONSTRUCTION INC. as a Woodworking Specialist. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all woodwork and carpentry projects are completed to the highest standards.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with a focus on preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials. You will also be responsible for preparing tenders and quotations, building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems, fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. Additionally, you will need to schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, survey building locations and levels, instruct apprentices, supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials, and operate CADD and other computer software systems.

Requirements:
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Permanent employment opportunity.
35 hours per week.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
