Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in the technical aspects of prescription filling and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and processing prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Performing computer functions as directed by the pharmacist, including data entry, price checks, and patient information updates
  • Filling prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, selecting appropriate products, and performing accuracy checks
  • Maintaining inventory control, assisting with ordering and stocking of drugs and supplies
  • Providing general housekeeping and clerical support, including filing and administrative tasks
  • Assisting with OTC operations and ordering, stocking, and cashier duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be proficient in computer software and have a basic understanding of pharmacy operations.
