About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Granville House Montessori. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children.
  • Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafting, to promote their learning and development.
  • Guide and assist children in developing healthy habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and healthy environment for children by planning and maintaining a clean and organized space.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
