Job Description

Navacord Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Cloud Data Architecture, ensuring that our knowledge workers have access to accurate, timely, and consistent structured information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a holistic view of our information assets, creating and maintaining blueprints that illustrate how information is stored, processed, and accessed.
  • Lead the design and development of data architecture and business intelligence solutions, ensuring that they are consistent and efficient.
  • Implement and oversee our corporate data models, ensuring that they remain stable and sustainable.
  • Define policies and standards for cloud native data management, including data layers, integration design, and data quality rules.
  • Collaborate with IT, PMO, and business stakeholders to maximize the value of data across the organization.
  • Develop project cost and benefit estimates, and provide recommendations for new or existing systems.
  • Ensure that reporting systems provide appropriate business intelligence, analyzing reporting requirements and providing recommendations.
  • Collect, analyze, mine, and leverage data stored in data warehouses.
  • Provide advice and guidance to team members on business intelligence and data management tools, as well as data collection, availability, security, and suitability.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in information technology, software engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of experience in a role that has taken ownership of data assets, providing users with high-quality data that is accessible in a consistent manner.
  • 8-12 years of experience in data cleansing and enrichment, including data de-duplication and construction.
  • 8-12 years of experience in discovering and capturing the current state of systems, including data discovery, profiling, and inventories.
  • 8-12 years of experience in defining policies and standards for cloud native data management, including data layers, integration design, and data quality rules.
  • 8-12 years of experience in leading the design and development of data architecture and business intelligence solutions.
  • 8-12 years of experience in implementing and overseeing corporate data models.
  • 8-12 years of experience in defining data management vision and strategies, managing the change journey, and designing and scaling end-to-end data management.
