Job Title: Biological Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Biological Technician to join our team at GELDA SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORP.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses, conduct microbiological, biochemical tests and laboratory analyses, and analyze data and prepare reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and laboratory procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses
  • Conduct microbiological, biochemical tests and laboratory analyses
  • Analyze data and prepare reports
  • Assist in conducting field research and surveys to collect data and samples
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and compliance activities for the protection of wildlife and other natural resources
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a laboratory setting, with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
