Transportation Coordinator Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator Lead to join our team at MVP Transport Ltd.
Job Description
As a Transportation Coordinator Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation services. This includes managing daily transportation tasks, coordinating with vehicle operators, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Time Sheet Management: Ensure the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.
- Work Records: Maintain work records and logs, monitoring personnel workloads and locations.
- Dispatching: Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems, and dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations.
- Shipment Tracking: Keep track of shipments and maintain vehicle operator work records.
- Radio Operation: Operate radio equipment and process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
- Expense Management: Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
- Emergency Response: Respond to urgent calls from individuals in life-threatening situations who require assistance.
- Scheduling: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
Additional Information
As a Transportation Coordinator Lead, you will possess excellent organizational skills, be reliable, and have a strong client focus. You should also have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
