Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Mohamed Abdelkader. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our homes, ensuring a comfortable and healthy environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willing to train.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home, work in employer's/client's home.
