Job Summary:

Aughdem Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, leading a team of sales professionals, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans: Create and execute sales strategies to achieve company goals and expand our customer base.
  • Lead and Mentor the Sales Team: Foster a culture of high performance and accountability among our sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Work closely with our President and other executives to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance Metrics: Provide regular reports and insights to our President, ensuring we are meeting our sales targets.
  • Drive the Sales Process: Ensure a seamless and professional customer experience from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the construction market, including industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Represent the Company: Enhance brand visibility and generate leads through industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Manage the Sales Budget: Ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximize ROI.
  • Provide Training and Development Opportunities: Enhance the skills and performance of our sales team through training and development programs.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A proven track record as a Vice President of Sales or in a similar senior sales leadership role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing a sales team.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Integrity and Professionalism: A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
