Job Title: Registered Nurse, MASTRS/OASIS

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team as a Registered Nurse, MASTRS/OASIS. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our clients and contribute to the delivery of seamless services and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care on the MASTRS/OASIS unit, adhering to CNO standards and RNAO Best Practice Guidelines.
  • Contribute to fluctuating patient care needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to diverse patient populations.
  • Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities, directing the work of others and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
  • Administer psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications and treatments, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams and individual team members to provide comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as an RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing.
  • BScN and CPMHN(C) preferred.
  • 2+ years recent experience working with mood and anxiety patients is preferred.
  • Mental Health Nursing certificate preferred.
  • 1 year in Charge Nurse role preferred.
  • CPR/Basic rescuer certification.
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills.
  • Skilled in the treatment of psychiatric disorders, including PTSD, suicide prevention, and the management of aggressive behavior.
  • Working knowledge of Mental Health Act, and community mental health resources.
  • Knowledge of documentation standards (CNO), and privacy legislation (PHIPPA).
