Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our Integrated Water Management team in our GTA, Ontario, Canada offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting senior team members in a range of multi-disciplinary projects for stormwater management, highway/road/rail drainage, and flood mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members in conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analyses
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated design
- Prepare water resource design reports, drawings, construction specifications, and permit applications
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors
Requirements
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering (Civil or Environmental)
- Master of Applied Science or Master of Engineering in Water Resources is considered an asset
- 1-3 years of experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater management analysis and design, bridge/culvert hydraulic assessment, flood management, and drainage design
- Experience in Low Impact Development/Green Infrastructure design is considered an asset
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills
- Strong computer skills including experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software and the Microsoft suite, as well as experience with GIS and AutoCAD Civil3D
- Class G Driver's License
