Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join our team at Indian Sweet Master Waterloo. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange the bar area to create visually appealing displays
  • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar, including short order cooking and food preparation
  • Clean the bar area and wash glassware
  • Serve food or snacks to customers
  • Clean the draft beer system and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections to customers
  • Collect payment for beverages and maintain accurate records
  • Store beverage and food products in a clean and organized manner
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • Resolve conflict situations in a fair and respectful manner
Requirements
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and reliable with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
