Senior Credit Director

As a Senior Credit Director at Agropur Coopérative, you will be responsible for leading all credit activities in Canada and the United States. This includes managing a team of managers, developing their skills, and ensuring the implementation of high standards and performance indicators in terms of credit. You will also be responsible for evaluating the level of risk related to our clients and ensuring the continuous improvement of processes under your team's responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Establish a long-term vision and direction by working closely with team members and your immediate supervisor.
Provide mobilizing leadership to achieve the strategic, tactical, and operational objectives of your management.
Establish a reporting environment including performance indicators related to credit activities and be responsible for monthly updates.
Identify issues and opportunities, implement action plans, and ensure follow-up.
Support sales teams in growth, ensure smooth communications with accounts receivable and master files teams, and actively participate in the implementation of new processes as part of our SAP digital transformation.
Requirements
Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting/Finance;
Be a member of the I.C.C. and hold a CCP (Certified Credit Professional) designation an asset;
Have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including personnel management (executives and employees);
Experience in the manufacturing sector is a strong asset;
Experience in negotiation, trade credit, and financial statement analysis;
Experience in an SAP environment;
Bilingualism (English and French) - Frequent communication with partners, customers, and/or employees outside Quebec.
