Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled District Mechanic to join our team. As a District Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime. You will also be required to work with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of makes, models, and equipment
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management
• Work with a team of skilled mechanics to achieve exceptional results
• Travel within Ontario as required
• Educate and train other team members on new equipment and techniques

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 5+ years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
