About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Painter to join our team at SJS DIESEL TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Instruct and train apprentices in the art of automotive body repair and painting.
  • Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components with precision and attention to detail.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, guaranteeing a flawless finish.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to exacting standards.
  • Repair or replace interior components, restoring vehicles to their original condition.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a perfect match.
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, demonstrating expertise and precision.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and multitasking skills.
  • Perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Be prepared to work overtime as needed, demonstrating a commitment to meeting deadlines.
