Key Responsibilities:- Layout and Installation Planning: Determine the optimal layout and installation procedures for our signs, taking into account factors such as site conditions and client requirements.
- Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Supply Chain Management: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Scaffolding and Platform Installation: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring a stable and secure working environment.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand client requirements and site conditions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sign installation or a related field.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Participate in initiatives that support persons with disabilities, such as accessible recruitment policies and awareness training.
- Newcomer and Refugee Support: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, including mentorship and language training.
- Youth Employment: Participate in initiatives that support youth employment, including on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Indigenous Support: Participate in programs that support Indigenous people, including cultural competency training and relationship-building with Indigenous communities.
- Visible Minority Support: Participate in initiatives that support members of visible minorities, including hiring policies and mentorship programs.
