About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at 11497235 Canada Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
