Care Coordinator Role

The Care Coordinator is a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, effective communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
  • Coordinate patient intake, data entry, and scheduling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist patients with completing paperwork, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Manage patient medical records, maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Process payments and track funding streams, ensuring seamless billing and reimbursement.
  • Coordinate courier packages and process incoming and outgoing mail, email, and faxes.
  • Support the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director with administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Core Competencies

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting an asset.
