Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Development Expert to join our team. As a key member of the Child Care Branch, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies that support the delivery of high-quality child care services in Alberta.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and implement policies related to child care and early childhood development;Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination;Analyze data and research to inform policy decisions;Represent the Department on various working groups and committees;Maintain awareness of current child care theory and approaches.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Sciences, Public Policy, etc.) plus 4 years of progressively responsible experience in conducting policy or legislative research, analysis and development;Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Experience with policy development and implementation preferred.

We Offer

A competitive salary range of $71,967 - $94,068 per year, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within the Government of Alberta.
