Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Industrial Specialist to join our team at Nova Millwrights Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including machinery and equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment, and operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Construction Millwright Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment, with a physically demanding workload. The ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads is essential.
