About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at Saputo, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's financial planning and analysis functions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results.
  • Support forecasting activities and advanced analytics to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to all business units, leveraging resources across the organization to contribute to the identification of actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Perform variance analyses and data validation of periodic divisional reports received by the Corporate team.
  • Prepare monthly performance packages for senior management, analyzing divisional performance compared to comparative period and budget.
  • Participate in divisional monthly calls to validate analysis of results and provide insights.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual public financial reports, including the Management Discussion & Analysis and supporting documentation.
  • Support the preparation of the consolidated annual budget process and presentation to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation required for external and internal audits.
  • Produce structured analyses and ad-hoc reports requested by management.
  • Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives around financial processes and analysis models.
  • Support special projects involving corporate accounting.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and French.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Workiva is an asset.
