About the Role

Ridgeback Contracting LTD is seeking a highly organized and reliable Construction Site Supervisor to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train staff in various areas of responsibility, including labourers.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Communication: Coordinate and schedule activities with stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
  • Equipment Management: Set up and maintain machines and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Blueprints and Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure projects are built according to plan.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to construction sites. You will be working outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment.
