About the Role:

Falconridge Dental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Specialist to join our team. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Treat Oral Health Issues: Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to identify and treat various oral health issues, including cavities, tooth decay, and gum disease.
  • Utilize Advanced Diagnostic Tools: Use X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Provide Dental Treatments: Offer a range of dental treatments, including routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, crowns, and veneers, to patients of all ages.
  • Administer Anesthesia: Safely administer local anesthesia to patients as needed to ensure a comfortable and pain-free experience.
  • Educate Patients: Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and provide personalized advice on proper aftercare following dental procedures.
  • Screen for Oral Cancer: Perform regular oral cancer screenings to detect any potential issues early on.
  • Prescribe Medications: Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain Sterile Environment: Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  • Take Impressions: Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral Degree: Possess a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • State License: Hold a valid state license to practice dentistry.
  • CPR Certification: Maintain current CPR certification.
  • Experience: Possess proven experience working in a dental practice, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in the use of various dental instruments and equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Possess good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to perform delicate procedures with precision and accuracy.
