About the Position

This exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) to join our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team at Fraser Health. As a key member of the interprofessional care team, you will work collaboratively to provide comprehensive care to individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the interprofessional care team to coordinate care for clients, including performing intake functions and conducting mental health assessments.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans for clients, taking into account their strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Providing treatment services, including crisis intervention, individual counseling, and education, using various theoretical models.
  • Aiding clients in accessing medical appointments, hospitals, and social programs.
