About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Farm Equipment Technician to join our team at Lundy Potato Farms LTD. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions in farm equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Order and Maintain Inventory: Source and procure necessary parts and materials to maintain a well-stocked inventory and ensure timely repairs.
  • Adjust and Repair Equipment: Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on farm equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.
  • Keep Maintenance Records: Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Test and Validate Repairs: Conduct thorough testing and validation of repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in farm equipment repair and maintenance, or equivalent education and training.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
