Project Coordinator, Electrical Construction Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator, Electrical Construction to join our team at Plan Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of our electrical construction projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Project Support**: Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Site Supervisors to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring project targets are achieved.
  • **Document Control**: Maintain and update document control logs, and follow through on project management procedures, including change orders, as-built drawings, and close-out documents.
  • **Status Updates**: Provide regular status updates on work in progress and support with project forecasting, cost control, and Plan Group's T.I.M.E. efficiency program.
  • **Equipment and Material Coordination**: Coordinate equipment and material deliveries and provide oversight of sub-trades.
  • **Site Meetings**: Participate in site meetings and document meeting minutes.
  • **Record Keeping**: Maintain records of all materials used and progress made on the job, in line with company guidelines.
  • **Problem Identification**: Proactively identify and bring to management's attention potential problems and/or schedule delays.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: Related Electrical Engineering post-secondary education and a minimum of one year related experience; trade experience a definite asset.
  • **Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project; experience with scheduling software such as Primavera an asset.
  • **Experience**: Experience analyzing and understanding mechanical construction drawings and experience working on commercial projects.
