Job Title: Retail Store Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at LA Hills Esso. As a Retail Store Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
