Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Donair Shop. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as donairs, fries, and beverages, to a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Handling and Storage: Handle and store food and cleaning products safely and hygienically, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service, and provide support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
