Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Agile development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building quality, secure, high-performing software and tackling tough technical and non-technical testing challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Take charge of your team's overall quality strategy and help the team adapt and optimize for quality up front.
- Contribute to the definition, requirements, development, and testing of software solutions.
- Design and write automated tests, plan and execute exploratory testing, and implement reliability engineering strategies.
- Coach other members of your team about how to approach quality-related activities and foster a mature quality culture within the team.
- Be a compelling communicator of quality concerns and thrive at finding defects and design issues in software during all phases of the software development process.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Annualized base salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 CAD.
