About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Education to join our team at Sylvan Learning. As a key member of our center, you will be responsible for ensuring that our educational programs are delivered with the highest level of quality and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students to learn. Responsibilities:
- Deliver Educational Programs: Teach the Sylvan curriculum in a 3:1 setting to students when necessary.
- Support Teachers: Provide ongoing coaching and support to teaching staff to ensure they are trained and certified to deliver Sylvan programs.
- Maintain Student Progress: Monitor student progress to ensure goals are achieved and ongoing family needs are met.
- Communicate with Families: Conduct parent conferences on a regular and timely basis, with appropriate documentation.
- School Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with schools for partnership and marketing purposes.
