About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Kids Haven Childcare. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
  • Maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare tax returns, trial balance of books, and other financial reports
  • Utilize accounting software, MS Excel, and other tools to manage financial data
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
