About the Role

Elevate Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality drywall solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation.
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to achieve optimal results.
  • Finish corners and angles with precision and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for optimal performance.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings to enhance sound quality and aesthetics.
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts to meet client specifications.
Work Environment

You will be working in various locations, including industrial and residential settings, outdoors and at heights. This role requires you to work in dusty and noisy environments, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-6 months of experience in drywall installation.
  • Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location factors. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive benefits, including access to company-owned tools and equipment, such as hard hats, masks, safety glasses/goggles, and steel-toed safety boots.
