About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, as well as process returns and exchanges.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all products are properly displayed.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted products, such as lottery tickets, alcohol, and tobacco products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail sales experience.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate at Wine & Spirits, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
