Siemens Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers and contractors, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of our building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wiring checkout, system start-ups, and programming using commissioning tools
- Create graphics and manage databases
- Complete final critical adjustments, calibration, and commissioning reports on systems
- Work towards project schedules and maintain regular communication on project status
- Participate in job site final walks and complete job closeout documentation
- Conduct training and development classes for customers and deliver technical support and coaching
Requirements:
- Three years of college or technical school (electrical, mechanical, or control engineering) or equivalent combination of education and related practical experience
- Two+ years of direct experience working with Building Automation Systems
- BAS programming and commissioning experience
- Communication protocols: BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, MSTP
- Good knowledge of building systems and relevant standards
- Proactive and calm under pressure
- Proven diagnostic skills and ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems
