Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at ST Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck and performing various tasks related to the transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive a dump truck to transport goods to various locations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the dump truck, taking care to secure the cargo and prevent damage.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the dump truck, including performing preventive maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is physically demanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
