Building Control Engineer Specialist

CIMA+ is seeking an experienced Building Control Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automatic regulation systems for building mechanics.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborating with a team of enthusiastic professionals who share your passion for innovative solutions. You will be responsible for:
- Participating in the design and development of drawings and specifications for automatic regulation systems;
- Determining construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established drawings and specifications;
- Conducting surveys and studies, as well as writing technical reports;
- Participating in the resolution of technical problems;
- Writing progress reports and contributing to drawing up action plans;
- Participating in partial supervision of construction work.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical buildings engineering or equivalent;
- Membership or eligibility in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- A minimum of three years' relevant experience in building automatic regulation;
- Fluency in spoken and written French;
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle;
- An ASP Construction card;
- LEED certification or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset).
