Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at D&G Logistics Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient cargo handling.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining open communication throughout the journey.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent work term. The work language is English, and the work hours are 50 hours per week.
