Fitness Instructor Opportunities at Gold's Gym

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a variety of classes including cardio kickboxing, tabata, HIIT, bootcamps, spin, yoga, Zumba, etc.
  • MOSSA instructors including Group Power, Group Ride, Group Blast, Group Centergy, Group Active.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure members have a positive experience.
  • Continually monitor participants to ensure all participants are using the correct form and provide modifications as necessary.
  • Responsible for instructing classes within certain guidelines and ensuring equipment is safe for all members to use.
  • Dismantle all audio and visual equipment after use.
  • Cross-sell our services and encourage members to try new group fitness classes.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience instructing group fitness classes.
  • Knowledge of safe exercise techniques, group exercise principles, basic physiology and body mechanics.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence people.
  • Professional, organized, efficient, results focused and a self-starter.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
  • Group Fitness Certification by BCRPA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent.
  • 2 million liability Insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
