Pipeline Welder Job Description

Panda Piping Ltd is seeking a skilled Pipeline Welder to join our team. As a Pipeline Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts and products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC).
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment and previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
